Cloud Engineer at MEDIAGENIX

At Mediagenix, we empower major media organizations like Disney, the BBC, Discovery, and Paramount to deliver content to viewers efficiently. Our broadcast management system serves as the backbone for these global leaders, providing innovative software solutions that function on-premise or through cloud-based platforms. We are currently looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer to join our Cloud Operations team in Thailand. In this role, you will help manage our customer cloud environments from start to finish, working closely with our support staff to ensure our systems remain robust and high-performing.

Key outcomes

• Collaborate on the installation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of our systems, middleware, and software.
• Oversee the growth and operational performance of customer cloud environments in partnership with our internal team and external vendors.
• Maintain system availability and performance by strategically allocating resources and managing emergency situations effectively.
• Investigate the root causes of incidents and implement long-term solutions through proactive problem management and trend analysis.
• Contribute to our global expansion by helping define the deployment strategy for our cloud infrastructure assets.

Requirements

• Extensive experience working as an all-round System Administrator.
• Strong technical proficiency in AWS, Windows server environments, and database services such as PostgreSQL or Oracle.
• Proven scripting abilities in PowerShell, as well as experience with JavaScript, YAML, or Python.
• Solid understanding of networking and firewall configurations.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
• An analytical mindset with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced customer operations setting.
• A flexible approach to work and a commitment to continuous learning as technologies evolve.
