About the Role
We are seeking a Cloud Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. In this mid-level role, you will be instrumental in building, supporting, and enhancing the core infrastructure that powers our platform. You will report directly to our Software Engineering Manager and play a vital role in ensuring our systems are scalable and secure as we continue to expand our footprint in the insurance market.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with our engineering teams to develop the internal tooling necessary for their continued success.
- Design, maintain, and scale our cloud infrastructure while constantly evaluating it for security improvements.
- Optimize our CI/CD pipelines to support new use cases and ensure our systems remain resilient against cybersecurity threats.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of professional experience in a similar role.
- A Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.
- Proven experience working within AWS and UNIX/Linux environments.
- Strong proficiency in Python and Shell scripting for automation.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment by working independently and prioritizing tasks effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Location
This position is remote and can be performed from anywhere, though you also have the option to work out of our Toronto office if you prefer.
