Key outcomes
- Collaborate with our engineering team to design and deploy the most effective cloud-based solutions for our business.
- Execute technical initiatives under the guidance of lead architects, focusing on large-scale data processing, statistical modeling, and advanced analytics on AWS.
- Establish and document clear strategies for infrastructure maintenance and application deployment.
- Mentor our developer teams to help them grow their cloud competencies and technical expertise.
- Maintain high standards for code quality to ensure our applications remain secure, performant, and scalable.
- Proactively identify and troubleshoot system issues to prevent disruptions to business productivity.
Requirements
- At least three years of professional experience in architecting and implementing cloud solutions specifically on the AWS platform.
- A strong understanding of the five pillars of a well-architected framework.
- Proficiency in areas such as ETL, business intelligence, containerization, networking, big data, machine learning, and advanced analytics.
- Experience working effectively within multidisciplinary teams that include data scientists, business analysts, and developers.
- Solid knowledge of web services, REST, RPC, and API development.
- An active AWS certification.
- Fluency in English.
Preferred qualifications
- Prior experience working with geospatial data is highly desirable.
Compensation
For this full-time, on-site role in Canada, we offer a base annual salary range of $115,000 to $155,000. This range is determined by your specific qualifications, experience, and location. In addition to salary, we provide the following benefits:
