We are currently looking for a talented Cloud Engineer to join our Directorate for Digital Services. What you bring

As a Senior level Full Time Cloud Engineer, you will work in a Remote capacity to help us transform how the Department of Defense designs and deploys technology. You will serve as a generalist who can jump into complex projects with little context to deliver secure, scalable solutions. Your core responsibilities will include:

• Designing, automating, and maintaining cloud-based environments to ensure high performance and security.
• Developing scripts and software to assist in the deployment of cloud computing systems.
• Implementing security best practices and managing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.

Requirements

We are looking for a candidate who is self-motivated and comfortable working as part of an engineering community of practice. You must have at least 5 years of experience in infrastructure roles such as SRE, system administration, or DevSecOps. Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, or Golang is essential, alongside proven experience with at least one major cloud provider like AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. You should be comfortable with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and terminal-based shell scripting. Because of the nature of our work, you must be a U.S. citizen and possess the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI clearance. We highly encourage you to share your e-portfolio, GitHub profile, or project samples with your application.
