The opportunity

We are looking for an early-career Cloud Engineer II to join our team. This is a full-time, remote position that offers the chance to work alongside talented engineers across the United States and India. You will play a vital role in our infrastructure, focusing on automation and efficiency while growing your technical expertise. We are deeply committed to your professional development, and we expect you to dedicate 10% of your time to training, helping you build the skills necessary to support our systems and advance your career within our organization.

A day in the life

• You will identify ways to reduce toil by automating workflows, managing costs, and creating internal tools that boost overall engineering efficiency.
• You will handle the administration and maintenance of our production systems, ensuring consistent configuration and robust support for our DevOps processes.
• You will proactively monitor our services to manage performance, availability, and capacity, while maintaining clear documentation and reliable disaster recovery backups.

Who you are

You are a motivated engineer with 2 to 4 years of experience supporting production environments. You possess a strong technical foundation and are comfortable working in a remote, collaborative setting. To be successful in this role, you should have the following skills:

• Proficiency in AWS infrastructure, Kubernetes, and Docker.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform and various CI/CD pipeline tools.
• A solid understanding of Linux, networking concepts like CIDR and Subnetting, and VPN configurations.
• Practical experience with Python and a firm grasp of security best practices.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
