The role
We are looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer I to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a remote position available to candidates located anywhere. As a senior member of our support infrastructure, you will serve as a primary technical authority, helping our customers navigate cloud platforms and Linux or Unix operating systems through phone, ticketing, and automation channels.
Core responsibilities
- Own and manage complex customer issues from start to finish, ensuring clear communication and consistent updates throughout the resolution process.
- Collaborate with internal teams and customers to troubleshoot environments, proactively identifying potential pitfalls and suggesting alternatives to improve stability and security.
- Develop new tooling, processes, and playbooks to enhance the overall customer experience while mentoring other team members on technical best practices.
Skills and experience
To be successful in this role, you should possess a deep understanding of cloud technologies and operating systems. We value candidates who demonstrate the following qualifications:
- Extensive experience working with Cloud platforms and Linux/Unix environments.
