We are Quanata, an insurance technology company backed by State Farm that builds advanced risk prediction tools, digital acquisition capabilities, and a flexible, AI-native insurance platform for State Farm and HiRoad Assurance Company. We are hiring a Cloud Enablement Engineer on a full-time, remote basis to strengthen the AWS-centered platform that lets our engineering teams ship software quickly, securely, and at scale.
Responsibilities
- Define and roll out AWS infrastructure, networking, and software standards that balance security, performance, and cost efficiency.
- Partner with product teams to ensure their applications follow Infrastructure-as-Code best practices and meet all security and compliance requirements.
- Build and maintain automation, deployment pipelines, monitoring, and documentation that improve developer productivity and platform reliability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
- Three to five years of hands-on work with AWS Cloud services or developer tooling, including at least three years focused on AWS PaaS offerings and two years with distributed systems.
- Practical experience with CI/CD platforms such as GitLab or GitHub, Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform, and container orchestration using Kubernetes, ECS, or Docker.
- Proficiency in at least one of Go, Python, or Bash for scripting and automation tasks.
- Strong troubleshooting, written, and verbal communication skills, plus a collaborative approach to code reviews and task documentation.
- At least one associate-level AWS certification, or the willingness to obtain it within six months of joining.
What we offer
The salary range for this position is $155,000 to $205,000.
