Job Summary:

We're seeking skilled and enthusiastic Cloud DevOps Engineers to join our team and help us automate and streamline our software delivery process. You will work closely with our software engineers to design, manage, and maintain tools for deployment, monitoring, and operations. In addition, you will troubleshoot and resolve issues in our development, test, and production environments. The ideal candidate will have experience with a variety of DevOps tools and technologies, as well as a strong understanding of software development principles.

We’re hiring for Senior, Staff, and Principal DevOps Engineers.

This role is 100% remote from anywhere in the USA; it is a full-time role and offers extensive benefits including a healthcare plan.

Responsibilities:

Build, test, and maintain the infrastructure and tools to automate and streamline our software delivery process
Work directly with the Development team to implement DevOps best practices and test system integrity
Design and implement build, deployment, and configuration management
Handle code deployments for all environments
Monitor and maintain our production environment
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues and lead RCAs
Provide technical guidance and educate team members and coworkers on development and operations
Consult with peers for feedback during testing stages
Maintain day-to-day management and administration of projects
Stay up-to-date on the latest DevOps technologies

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience
5+ years of experience with DevOps tools and technologies
Experience in handling Kubernetes, Docker
Experience with Helm, Kustomize, and/or Operators
Experience with AWS, Azure, and/or GCP
Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions
Experience managing Linux based infrastructure
Experience managing data platforms with Kafka, Flink, Spark, Hudi, Iceberg, Hive, S3, etc is a definite plus
Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Go, and Bash
Knowledge of networking and security principles
Strong problem-solving and analytics skills
Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Work Environment:

Fast-paced work environment
Work in a quiet remote work environment
Be available for collaborative work (via computer, videoconference, teleconference, etc.) during Graphite working hours, Monday through Friday
Sit for prolonged periods working on a computer
Lift basic office equipment and supplies
Occasional travel (including air travel) may be required
