What you bring

We are seeking a Mid-Level Cloud Database Engineer to join us in a Full Time, remote capacity based in Georgia. You will play a pivotal role in our security-conscious environment, focusing on database automation and the development of high-performance architectures. Your core responsibilities will include:

• Designing and implementing robust database architectures that ensure high availability and security for our platform.
• Collaborating with product and data teams to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
• Automating database installation, configuration, and maintenance tasks to eliminate manual processes.

Requirements

The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in database administration and a deep passion for repeatable configuration management. You should be comfortable working with Kubernetes, Docker, PostgreSQL, Ruby on Rails, and Node.Js. We value candidates who have experience managing databases in high-volume, mission-critical environments and who understand the nuances of scaling and replication. Strong communication skills in English are essential, as you will be working closely with development teams to optimize database code and provide technical guidance. A proactive mindset toward security and a desire to continuously improve our infrastructure are key characteristics we look for in our engineers.

What we offer
