We are looking for a Senior Cloud Database Engineer to join our team in the United States. Since our founding in 1996, LendingTree has grown into the leading online marketplace in the U.S. for consumers to compare financial products like mortgages, personal loans, and insurance, helping millions of people save money and improve their financial lives.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain various database and cloud environments to support our business partners and project teams.
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Oversee user access management while ensuring all security protocols are strictly followed.
- Adhere to SDLC standards for every database and code modification.
- Take part in an on-call rotation to ensure system reliability.
Must-haves
- At least 3 years of professional experience in database development.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience working with Python or C#.
- Proficiency with either GitLab or GitHub.
- A degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Proven experience with at least two of the following: SQL Server, Postgres, Mongo, or MySQL.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with orchestration technologies and a detail-oriented approach to documentation.
Nice-to-haves
- Practical experience with AWS or Azure, particularly with RDS, ECS, and EC2.
- Background in building and maintaining CI/CD workflows.
- Familiarity with various data and machine learning technologies.
