Cloud Consultant at Callista ACE AG

What is this role?

We are looking for a Senior Cloud Consultant to join us on a contractor basis. This is an on-site position based in Zurich, starting in mid-August 2025 for a duration of 30 project days. You will play a key role in setting up our cloud architecture, ensuring that our governance, security, and infrastructure standards are built to last.

What will you do?

• Design and implement Azure Landing Zones, including hub-spoke or disconnected architectures, while configuring the necessary network components like VPNs, subnets, routing, and firewalls.
• Establish comprehensive cloud governance by developing policies for cost control, naming conventions, and identity management, utilizing tools such as Azure Policy and Management Groups.
• Provide strategic guidance and initial concepts for our future expansion into multi-cloud environments, specifically looking at Google Cloud and AWS.

To be successful in this role, you should have extensive experience in building and managing Azure infrastructures. You must be fluent in German, as this is essential for our daily collaboration.

Your technical toolkit should include:

• Deep expertise in Governance, Security, and Landing Zone design.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code using tools like Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
• Solid knowledge of network architecture, including firewalls and VPN connectivity.
• Familiarity with Azure services such as Azure AD, Azure Monitor, and Log Analytics.
• Bonus points if you have prior experience with GCP or AWS.
