Truveta is the world’s first health provider-led data platform, and our mission is to save lives by helping researchers find cures faster while empowering clinicians to provide the best care possible. We are looking for a Clinical Terminology Data Analyst to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a hybrid role that offers the flexibility to work from anywhere, though we do require in-person attendance for one week each year for our planning sessions. We operate with a focus on Pacific Time to keep our team aligned, and we are looking for someone who is ready to tackle complex health challenges with a collaborative, problem-solving mindset.
Responsibilities
- Perform detailed ad hoc analyses to address specific business needs, which involves extracting, manipulating, and reporting on complex healthcare data.
- Utilize SQL, Databricks, and Excel to collect and prepare data, ensuring that all outputs meet high standards for integrity and accuracy through rigorous quality assurance practices.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of your methodologies and findings to support team knowledge sharing and ensure that all work remains reproducible.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Data Science, Statistics, or Healthcare Administration.
- Between 1 to 3 years of experience working with SQL, with additional proficiency in Python and PowerBI considered a strong plus.
- Familiarity with healthcare-specific data and ontologies, including ICD-10, RXNorm, and SNOMED.
- A solid understanding of relational databases and a willingness to learn about Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence applications.
- A startup-oriented mindset that allows you to adapt quickly to changing priorities while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
What we offer
