The role

We are looking for a Senior Clinical Software Developer to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis. In this role, you will serve as a technical expert, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of electrical, mechanical, and software engineers. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of software development, ensuring our complex user interfaces for CT scanners and other medical devices remain at the forefront of the industry. This is an ideal position for a seasoned engineer who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is passionate about building high-impact medical technology.

Core responsibilities

• Manage the complete software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, implementation, verification, and manufacturing support.
• Develop and maintain complex clinical user interfaces using Windows WPF and Unity, including the implementation of advanced features like computer vision, AR, and VR.
• Troubleshoot development and production environments while optimizing embedded systems to ensure peak performance and reliability.

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong background in software engineering and a commitment to clinical excellence. We require the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering.
• At least 3 years of experience in the medical device industry.
• Proven expertise in C# programming and developing clinical GUIs using Windows Forms and WPF.
• Extensive experience with Unity, including 2D UI development and plugin integration.
• Proficiency in Git and version control workflows.
• A solid grasp of object-oriented programming, multi-threaded application development, and core computer science principles.
• Familiarity with DICOM image rendering and OpenGL is highly valued.
• Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to translate technical concepts for clinical teams and customers.
