The role
We are seeking a Senior Clinical Sales Manager to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a remote position focused on the Washington DC, Maryland, and Virginia territory. You will play a pivotal role in our commercialization efforts, driving the adoption of our diagnostic technology within hospitals and health systems. This is an ideal opportunity for a seasoned professional to advance their career while helping us achieve a world where infectious disease is no longer a major threat to human health.
Core responsibilities
- Grow sales revenue and test volume by establishing new business in hospitals and increasing utilization within existing accounts through consultative sales techniques.
- Serve as a subject matter expert, building deep relationships with infectious disease physicians, lab directors, and C-level executives to educate them on the unique value of our proprietary technology.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Inside Sales, Customer Success, Medical Affairs, and Marketing teams to achieve territory goals and foster a world-class commercial culture.
Skills and experience
- A bachelor’s degree is required, and an advanced degree or MBA is considered a plus.
- At least 5 years of sales or business development experience within the life sciences, biotech, medical device, diagnostic, or pharmaceutical industries.
- A robust network of existing relationships with hospital stakeholders, including microbiology labs, physician groups, and clinical administrators.
- Proven success in introducing novel, transformational products to physicians and hospitals that change clinical practice.
- Strong analytical aptitude, business acumen, and the ability to manage complex, multi-level accounts.
- An entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
- Fluency in English and a valid driver’s license.
