We are looking for a Senior Clinical Informaticist to join our product team and help shape the future of our clinical data integration platform. At Aledade, we focus on empowering primary care physicians to succeed in value-based care. Our platform is essential for sourcing and curating patient chart data, which directly supports our population health initiatives and ensures our quality measure reporting is both accurate and timely. You will work alongside engineers, product managers, and clinicians to bridge the gap between clinical practice and technology. This is a full-time, remote position, and you are welcome to work from anywhere in the United States or from our office in Bethesda, Maryland.
Key outcomes
- Act as a primary stakeholder within our cross-functional team to improve the quality of clinical data across our entire technology ecosystem.
- Monitor, analyze, and resolve challenges related to data interfaces and processing, while escalating any discrepancies found in our clinical data streams.
- Advance our quality improvement programs by mapping clinical data to standardized code systems.
- Ensure our analytics tools and applications provide consistent, meaningful insights by facilitating precise data submissions and identifying areas for process optimization.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nursing, Bioinformatics, Medical or Health Informatics, or a related discipline.
- More than 5 years of professional experience within the healthcare technology or clinical informatics sectors.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL for the purpose of querying and interpreting complex clinical datasets.
- A comprehensive understanding of standard healthcare information technology vocabularies and terminology.
- Practical, hands-on experience working with ambulatory Electronic Health Record systems.
- Familiarity with the technical specifications and reporting workflows required for healthcare quality measures.
- Full professional proficiency in English.
Preferred qualifications
- Technical expertise in healthcare interoperability standards, specifically HL7, FHIR, or CDA.
- Experience managing data within cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Knowledge of healthcare data governance frameworks and best practices for maintaining data security and integrity.
- Insight into population health management and the underlying data infrastructure required to support it.
- Relevant certifications, such as CPHIMS or CAHIMS.
- Exposure to the application of machine learning or AI technologies within a clinical setting.
