What is this role?
We are looking for a Senior Clinical Appeals Specialist to join us in a full-time capacity. This is a remote position available to candidates located anywhere. You will play a vital part in our upcoming product launch within the appeal writing space, working alongside our product and data science teams to refine strategies that help our customers reduce denials.
What will you do?
- Review and improve technology-generated clinical denial appeal letters to ensure they meet the highest standards and regulatory requirements.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to build scalable templates and optimize strategies for DRG-Downgrade and medical necessity appeals.
- Take ownership of the quality control process to ensure the integrity and consistency of all appeal documentation across our team.
What makes you a great fit?
To succeed in this role, you should have a strong background in clinical denial strategies and hands-on experience crafting appeal letters. We value candidates who have led teams in high-stakes environments and possess a genuine interest in advising healthcare technology companies. You must hold a medical degree, specifically as an RN or MD, and demonstrate a deep understanding of the clinical denial landscape. Strong leadership abilities, particularly in managing teams of clinicians who review patient charts, will set you apart. Fluency in English is required for this position.
What's in it for you?
We offer a base salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 for Registered Nurse candidates and $150,000 to $180,000 for MD candidates with a valid and active medical license in the US, in addition to equity. Our benefits package includes:
