We are building the future of healthcare by bridging the gap between advanced artificial intelligence and clinical practice. Our team is focused on creating innovative, LLM-powered tools that automate data analysis and abstraction for clinical registries, ultimately helping health systems improve patient outcomes. We are looking for passionate individuals who want to solve complex, real-world problems alongside a mission-driven team that values both technical excellence and clinical impact.
What is this role?
We are seeking a Clinical AI Engineer to join our team in a full-time, mid-level capacity. This is a remote position open to candidates located anywhere in the United States. In this role, you will sit at the intersection of engineering and clinical operations, helping us design and refine AI systems that make registry data more accurate and accessible.
What will you do?
- Develop and test sophisticated prompt strategies tailored to clinical registry workflows and complex patient data.
- Create evaluation protocols and behavioral test suites to ensure our AI models remain accurate, safe, and clinically appropriate.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and clinical teams to measure model performance and drive continuous improvements through detailed error analysis.
What makes you a great fit?
You should have a strong background in both clinical environments and AI development. We are looking for someone who brings the following qualifications:
- A solid foundation in interpreting patient data, including labs, procedures, and treatment timelines, ideally with experience in clinical registry programs.
- At least one year of hands-on experience with LLM prompt engineering and a deep understanding of how AI systems interpret instructions in a clinical context.
- Experience designing evaluation pipelines and using metrics like precision and recall to measure the performance of AI or human-in-the-loop systems.
- Excellent communication skills to bridge the gap between technical researchers and clinical stakeholders.
- A Bachelor’s degree in a clinical field, such as Nursing, Health Informatics, or Public Health, or equivalent professional experience.
- Fluency in English.
What's in it for you?
We offer a competitive salary range of $89,900 to $97,900. Beyond compensation, we provide a supportive environment where you can tackle challenging problems with talented colleagues. Our benefits include:
- Comprehensive medical insurance.
- A 401k retirement plan.
- The flexibility of a fully remote work environment.
