Foundation Risk Partners is one of the fastest growing insurance brokerage and consulting firms in the United States, and we are currently looking for a Claims Assistant to join our C&H Agency team in Fairfield, New Jersey. In this full-time, on-site role, you will act as the vital link between our clients and insurance carriers to ensure every claim is handled with care and precision.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for insureds and carriers throughout the entire life of a claim.
- Examine insurance policies to verify coverage and confirm the validity of claims.
- Coordinate with approved vendors, such as repair shops and mechanics, to manage necessary services.
- Help arrange medical treatments for claimants when the situation requires it.
- Evaluate essential documentation, including medical records and police reports, to support claim resolutions.
- Work closely with account representatives to share claims data that aids in the policy renewal process.
- Develop and execute strategies to reach fair, ethical, and cost-effective outcomes for all parties.
Must-haves
- A solid understanding of insurance policies and the standard claims lifecycle.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage effectively with claimants, legal representatives, and witnesses.
- Strong time management abilities to prioritize and complete urgent tasks.
- High attention to detail when analyzing data and maintaining documentation.
- Proven problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- The ability to foster and maintain professional relationships with stakeholders.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office and various claims management software.
- Fluency in English.
Benefits
The salary range for this position is $65,000 to $85,000 USD. We also provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
