Civil Engineering Co-op Student at Urban Systems

Are you ready to turn your engineering studies into real-world impact? We are looking for 10 passionate co-op students to join our team for 4, 8, or 12-month terms starting in May 2025. Role at a glance

This is an on-site internship opportunity for students currently in their 3rd or 4th year of a civil, environmental, or integrated engineering program. You will work alongside seasoned professionals and recent graduates to gain hands-on experience in infrastructure design, water resources, and transportation planning. We have openings across various branches in Canada, offering you a chance to apply your classroom knowledge to complex, rewarding projects.

Your impact

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to complete design and modeling assignments using industry-standard software like AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Support the planning, analysis, and construction inspection of essential municipal infrastructure.
• Produce high-quality technical writing, including reports, memos, and cost estimates, while assisting with project administration.

What you'll need

We are looking for students who are curious, motivated, and eager to grow. You should be a strong communicator who can translate complex technical details into clear, compelling stories. You must be detail-oriented and ready to solve problems through research and collaboration. A valid Class 5 Driver’s License is required for many of our roles to facilitate site visits and field work. Proficiency in English is essential for success in our team-based environment.
