CI/CD Engineer at Assured Guaranty

The role

We are looking for a Mid-Level CI/CD Engineer to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis in the United States. In this position, you will be instrumental in modernizing our development lifecycle and ensuring our cloud environment is both resilient and efficient. You will work closely with our development and quality assurance teams to bridge the gap between code creation and production deployment.

Core responsibilities

• Manage and optimize our CI/CD pipelines while driving the full automation of testing processes to ensure rapid, reliable software delivery.
• Establish and enforce governance standards for our continuous integration systems, including security integrations like SAST, DAST, and container scanning.
• Collaborate with our IT security and development groups to design and maintain cloud infrastructure that adheres to our strict compliance and performance requirements.

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong technical background and a commitment to operational excellence. We require the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in a similar CI/CD or DevOps role.
• Practical knowledge of IDLC processes, including incident, problem, and change management.
• Proficiency with modern cloud and development tools, including AWS, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Terraform, and Harness.
• Experience working with database technologies such as MongoDB, Snowflake, and MS SQL.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to mentor team members and interact effectively with stakeholders across the organization.
• Bonus points if you hold certifications such as an MCSE Cloud Platform and Infrastructure or an AWS Certified Solutions Architect.

Compensation and benefits

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $175,000 to $200,000. Your final compensation will be determined based on your unique experience, credentials, and market conditions. In addition to the base salary, this role includes eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus and a comprehensive package of employee benefits.
