About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Chrome Extension Developer to join us on a full-time basis. In this role, you will be a key member of our Product Engineering team, responsible for designing, building, and maintaining software that drives our portfolio. You will translate product requirements into high-quality, scalable code, ensuring our solutions meet the complex needs of our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain advanced browser extensions to ensure a seamless and high-quality user experience.
- Lead the integration and customization of CCaaS softphone solutions, including researching CTI events and actions.
- Perform deep-dive diagnostics and integration work for WebRTC connections and WebSocket streams to ensure reliable real-time data transfer.
Requirements
To be successful in this position, you should bring a strong background in software engineering and a proactive approach to problem-solving. We are looking for the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of relevant professional experience.
- Advanced proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, specifically regarding browser extension development.
- Deep technical knowledge of WebRTC protocols and WebSocket communication.
- Strong experience working with RESTful and SOAP APIs.
- A solid understanding of web security principles to protect against vulnerabilities.
- Excellent critical thinking skills and the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
Location
This position is based in India and operates in a hybrid work environment.
