About the Role
We are hiring a Chief Technology Officer to join us full time in a remote capacity. In this executive position you will lead all engineering, information technology, and security functions, guiding a team of more than thirty technologists as we scale reliable, secure platforms that support both our customers and our internal operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Shape and execute our long-term technology strategy in close partnership with the rest of the executive team, ensuring every technical initiative advances clear business goals.
- Build and mentor a high-performing engineering organization that spans backend, web, mobile, quality assurance, and IT, fostering collaboration, innovation, and continuous professional growth.
- Oversee the design, development, and operation of our end-to-end platforms-including backend infrastructure, customer-facing web and mobile experiences, and IT systems-while maintaining the highest standards of security, reliability, and regulatory compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least fifteen years of experience in software development and architecture for consumer-facing products, including a demonstrated ability to build and scale complex systems.
- Seven or more years in a leadership capacity, directly managing and mentoring multiple engineering and IT teams.
- Deep technical expertise in modern software practices, cloud infrastructure, data analytics, and security.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to translate complex technical concepts for cross-functional stakeholders.
- Strategic and creative problem-solving mindset with a clear architectural vision across web, mobile, and backend platforms.
Location
This position is fully remote and open to candidates located anywhere.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range for this role is $300,000 to $350,000, with eligibility for an annual performance bonus. We also offer a 401k plan with up to 4 percent employer matching, comprehensive medical, vision, and dental coverage, basic life and disability insurance, twelve weeks of paid parental leave, generous paid time off, and a monthly wellness stipend to support personal health and self-care.
