Chief Technology Officer at Teikametrics

We are seeking an accomplished technology executive to serve as our Chief Technology Officer. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will guide the strategic direction of our technology organization as we scale Teikametrics beyond $100 million in annual recurring revenue. Our AI-powered Marketplace Optimization Platform helps sellers and brand owners maximize performance across the world’s leading marketplaces, and we currently optimize more than $8 billion in gross merchandise value for thousands of clients, including Munchkin, Clarks, Nutribullet, Conair, Nutrafol, and Solo Stove. Founded in 2015, we deliver these capabilities through a straightforward SaaS interface powered by proprietary AI technology.

Key outcomes

• Simplify and expand our infrastructure by designing and deploying scalable microservices that leverage modern cloud technologies, including serverless architectures and NoSQL solutions.
• Partner with Product and senior leadership to define and implement the technology initiatives required to grow annual recurring revenue from $50 million to $100 million.
• Build and operate data pipelines that rapidly integrate additional major marketplaces such as Amazon, Walmart, Meta, TikTok, Google, and Shopify.
• Lead and scale a global engineering organization of more than 100 professionals across the United States and India while cultivating a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Ten to fifteen or more years of experience building SaaS products and leading engineering teams in Big Data environments; prior work in consumer retail or banking is advantageous.
• A bachelor’s or advanced degree in Computer Science from a leading technical institution.
• Demonstrated technical fluency in scalable microservices and contemporary cloud platforms.
• Proven success managing engineering organizations of 100 or more professionals at high-growth SaaS companies.
• Experience directing distributed teams that include team members based in India.
• Professional fluency in English.

Preferred qualifications

• Direct experience working with e-commerce marketplaces and platforms such as Amazon, Shopify, Google, or eBay.
