The role
We are seeking a Chief Technology Officer to join our executive team on a full-time basis. This is an executive-level position based in the United States, operating in a hybrid capacity. You will be the driving force behind our technological vision, responsible for shaping the strategy and execution that will propel our SaaS platform forward. We need a leader who can balance high-level strategic planning with the hands-on technical expertise required to solve complex problems as we scale.
Core responsibilities
- Define and implement a robust technology strategy that directly supports our business objectives and aggressive growth targets.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a third-party technical team of more than 30 individuals while fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
- Oversee the end-to-end development and delivery of our complex B2B SaaS product, specifically focusing on the reliability and scalability of our payroll and payment services.
Skills and experience
To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong background in technology leadership and a proven ability to drive growth. We value the following qualifications:
- Proven experience as a CTO or in a similar leadership capacity within the SaaS or payments industry.
- A track record of successfully scaling a company’s revenue, specifically from the $20M range to over $50M.
- Deep technical expertise in microservices architecture, cloud-based technologies, and DevOps practices.
- The ability to operate at a code level, including hands-on experience with architecture design and troubleshooting.
- Experience managing and growing high-performing technical teams of 30 or more people.
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders, investors, and partners.
