We are now looking for a visionary Chief Technology Officer to join our team and lead the future of our global data exchange infrastructure.

Key outcomes

• Develop and execute a multi-year technical strategy that aligns with our core mission while leading and growing our engineering teams based in the Netherlands and India.
• Drive the architectural evolution of our global platform, ensuring it remains scalable, secure, and reliable while maintaining expertise in standards like FHIR, XDS, and openEHR.
• Integrate AI-driven innovation, such as semantic normalization and automated data mapping, without compromising our commitment to enterprise-grade compliance and reliability.
• Partner closely with our product leadership to manage technical trade-offs and represent our company as a technology ambassador at industry forums like HL7 and IHE.
• Oversee the full software development lifecycle to maintain high velocity and quality while upholding rigorous global data privacy and security standards.
• Maintain a deep understanding of emerging technologies and healthcare standards, including DICOM and SNOMED, to keep our platform at the forefront of the industry.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in an executive technology leadership role, ideally within a Healthcare SaaS or platform-oriented organization.
• Deep technical knowledge of healthcare data domains, including FHIR, XDS, and clinical data repositories.
• A proven track record of building and maintaining compliant healthcare platforms on a global scale.
• Strong proficiency in cloud-native environments, including Kubernetes, Docker, and major cloud providers like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Excellent strategic judgment regarding build versus buy decisions to ensure long-term platform value and efficiency.
• Inspirational leadership skills with the ability to mentor talent and communicate complex technical visions to diverse audiences.
• Fluency in English.

Preferred qualifications

• Specific knowledge of the European Health Data Space (EHDS) and related regulatory frameworks.
