Chief Technology Officer at Teikametrics

We are seeking an accomplished technology executive to serve as our Chief Technology Officer. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will guide the strategic direction of our engineering organization as we scale Teikametrics beyond $100 million in annual recurring revenue. Our AI-powered Marketplace Optimization Platform enables sellers and brand owners to maximize performance across major marketplaces, and we currently optimize more than $8 billion in gross merchandise value for thousands of clients worldwide, including Munchkin, Clarks, Nutribullet, Conair, Nutrafol, and Solo Stove. Founded in 2015, we operate a remote-first model across 24 U.S. states plus China and India.

Key outcomes

• Simplify and expand our infrastructure through scalable microservices built on modern cloud technologies, including serverless and NoSQL architectures.
• Partner with Product and senior leadership to design and deliver technology initiatives that support our growth from $50 million to $100 million in annual recurring revenue.
• Build and operate data pipelines that rapidly integrate additional major marketplaces such as Amazon, Walmart, Meta, TikTok, Google, and Shopify.
• Lead and scale a global engineering organization of more than 100 professionals across the United States and India while cultivating a culture of technical excellence.

Requirements

• 10 to 15 or more years of experience building SaaS products and leading engineering teams in Big Data environments, with consumer retail or banking experience viewed favorably.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from a leading technical institution.
• Demonstrated technical expertise in designing and operating scalable microservices on contemporary cloud platforms.
• Proven success leading engineering organizations of 100 or more engineers at high-growth SaaS companies.
• Experience managing distributed teams that include team members based in India.
• Full professional fluency in English.

Preferred qualifications

• Direct experience working with e-commerce marketplaces and platforms such as Amazon, Shopify, Google, or eBay.
