We are looking for a highly experienced Chief Technologist to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis in Russia. Our company focuses on the complex world of oil refining, petrochemicals, and gas processing. We pride ourselves on driving innovation and efficiency across our facilities, and we need a seasoned expert to help guide our technical strategy and ensure our operations remain at the forefront of the industry.
What you'll be doing
- You will define our technical policy regarding oil refining technologies and oversee the expert evaluation of all project and working documentation.
- You will collaborate closely with our refineries and processing units to develop standardized solutions that optimize costs and improve overall operational efficiency.
- You will lead the analysis of incidents and accidents to integrate preventative measures into our projects, while also managing the implementation of new technologies and equipment.
What you'll bring
To succeed in this role, you should possess a deep background in engineering and technology. We are looking for someone who demonstrates the following:
- Extensive experience in technical documentation, cost optimization, and the implementation of complex industrial systems.
- Fluency in Russian, as you will be communicating with internal teams and external partners regularly.
- A strong ability to evaluate technical specifications, manage relationships with equipment suppliers, and oversee the work of subcontractors.
- A proactive approach to developing normative documentation and improving our internal design standards.
