Chief Product Officer at Obol Labs

We are currently seeking a Chief Product Officer to join our executive team. In this role, you will define and execute our product strategy, ensuring our vision aligns with the evolving needs of the Ethereum consensus layer. You will lead our product and design functions, acting as a key partner to our CTO to translate technical roadmaps into successful market outcomes.

Key outcomes

• Own and drive the comprehensive product vision and strategy to foster company growth.
• Scale and lead our product and design organization while cultivating a high-performing, collaborative culture.
• Oversee our entire product suite, including Charon, the DV Launchpad, and Obol Splits, while defining the strategic direction for future development.
• Lead the design of node operator tooling and developer experiences, supporting deployments ranging from retail to enterprise environments.
• Refine our Solidity-based products to facilitate seamless integration into existing Ethereum protocols.
• Develop intuitive onboarding flows for our UI and programmatic tools, such as the Obol SDK and API.
• Analyze product performance and iterate on designs to address real-world challenges faced by our users.
• Represent our distributed validator vision to external clients and public outlets, managing integration processes with precision.
• Collaborate with the executive team to differentiate our products in the market and manage internal resources effectively.
• Participate in recruiting efforts to ensure the product team remains staffed with top-tier talent.

Requirements

• A deeply technical background with mandatory expertise in Solidity smart contract design.
• Extensive knowledge of protocol design, REST API and SDK development, and front-end DApp development.
• Strong understanding of Ethereum validator tech stacks, Ethereum clients, Layer 2 solutions, and DevOps infrastructure management.
• Ability to work effectively within the GMT-5 to GMT+3 time zones.
• Professional proficiency in English.
