The opportunity
We are looking for a Chief Product Officer to serve as the architect of our product strategy. In this executive role, you will report directly to our CEO and take the helm of our Product, Engineering, and UX/Design departments. Your mission is to bridge the gap between our high-level business goals and the daily reality of our technical deployments. You will be responsible for optimizing the financial performance of your division, ensuring our teams are operating at peak efficiency, and pushing the boundaries of what our digital platforms can achieve in the competitive online publishing space.
A day in the life
- You will provide hands-on leadership to our cross-functional teams, ensuring that our Product, Engineering, and Design staff feel motivated, supported, and aligned with our company mission.
- You will focus on driving operational and technological excellence, which includes refining our workflows to improve time to market and ensuring our sites excel in performance, UX, and SEO.
- You will spearhead strategic planning by developing a clear product roadmap and a set of KPIs that directly support our growth objectives and long-term sustainability.
Who you are
You are a seasoned leader with at least 8 years of experience in product leadership, specifically within the online publishing or digital media sectors. You understand the nuances of content marketing and have a 360-degree view of product development, from technical loading performance to user experience best practices. Your background includes:
- A proven ability to manage P&Ls and use financial data to guide your decision-making process.
- Deep expertise in optimizing workflows for scalability and maintaining high standards of quality control.
- Exceptional communication skills that allow you to unite diverse teams and maintain a positive, collaborative culture.
- A highly analytical mindset, paired with a passion for staying ahead of industry trends and experimenting with new technologies.
- Fluency in English and a strong desire to solve complex problems in a fast-paced environment.
