Chief Product Officer at FiscalNote

We are looking for a Chief Product Officer who will shape product vision, accelerate revenue growth, and lead transformative change across our global organization.

Responsibilities

• Set the overall product vision and direction that supports business goals and drives profitable growth.
• Define product strategy and roadmap to meet user needs and market demands, with a focus on how new AI technologies will reshape information consumption in legal, policy, and geopolitical domains.
• Present new product ideas to senior leadership with clear value propositions, ROI calculations, and evidence of user and market demand.
• Align product, engineering, and cross-functional teams around strategic priorities and commercial objectives, including near- and long-term revenue growth.
• Coach product directors and managers to ensure the product organization consistently represents the voice of the customer while collaborating with engineering, data science, operations, design, and business development.
• Build products using a customer-focused development approach.
• Monitor market landscape and industry trends to inform product strategy and roadmap decisions.
• Integrate AI tools into our product ecosystem and evolve our technology systems to adopt cutting-edge capabilities.
• Partner with go-to-market teams to support sales and revenue growth through close collaboration with marketing, customer service, sales, and account management.
• Work with corporate development and finance to identify inorganic growth opportunities and plan and execute acquisition and integration strategies.
• Nurture a world-class team culture and drive strategy and execution across the product organization.
• Advocate for the product vision and strategy to internal teams, customers, and prospects.
• Create and communicate product roadmaps inside and outside the organization.
• Lead change-management initiatives related to organizational design, processes, and practices.
• Hold yourself and your teams accountable for product and business outcomes, including metrics on usage, cost, revenue, and other key performance indicators.

Must-haves

• Executive experience leading product teams within a global business, including product management and product marketing.
• Deep understanding of how AI applies to legal and information-service markets.
• Extensive experience managing senior-level stakeholders.
• Substantial knowledge of software-as-a-service and information-services markets.
• Proven track record of delivering results against corporate strategy and product vision.
• Multiple experiences defining product roadmaps in business terms, collaborating with design and engineering peers, and shipping releases across multiple workstreams.
• Strong ability to deliver compelling stories and communicate concepts to engineers, creatives, and sales staff.
• Demonstrated ability to influence decision-making at all organizational levels and in varied contexts.
• Capacity to integrate as a collaborative team player, manage conflicting priorities, and drive results with creative solutions.
• Fluency in English.
