We are Zen, a high-growth company on a mission to modernize the education sector by replacing inefficient, paper-based staffing agencies with a digital platform that connects schools directly with teachers. Having recently secured $37 million in Series B funding, we are looking for a Chief Product and Technology Officer to lead our team of over 30 professionals in London as we scale our impact across the UK and US markets.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute our product vision while ensuring alignment with broader business goals.
- Collaborate with the CEO and executive team to set key objectives for product improvements and new market launches.
- Lead, hire, and mentor our product management, engineering, and design teams.
- Refine our agile development practices to ensure high-quality delivery.
- Prioritize the product roadmap by analyzing customer needs and solving complex business challenges.
- Embed rigorous customer research and data analysis into our product development cycle.
- Oversee regulatory compliance, data security, and the management of third-party vendors.
Must-haves
- Over 10 years of relevant professional experience in product and technology leadership.
- Proven track record of working with executives to translate business strategy into actionable product objectives.
- Extensive experience managing and scaling cross-functional teams.
- Strong technical and analytical skills, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- A history of delivering products that prioritize user experience and high-quality design.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to present effectively to senior stakeholders.
- Fluency in English.
