The role

We are seeking a Chief of Staff for Engineering to work directly alongside our CTO. This is a senior-level, full-time position available to candidates anywhere in the world. You will act as a strategic partner, optimizing the CTO’s workflow and ensuring that our engineering initiatives remain aligned with our broader company goals. This role is ideal for an experienced professional who excels at cross-functional collaboration and wants to make a tangible impact on a rapidly growing fintech organization.

Core responsibilities

• Collaborate with the CTO to define and drive our technical strategy, including product development roadmaps and long-term innovation initiatives.
• Manage complex, high-priority projects by overseeing timelines, resource allocation, and budget management to ensure we meet our milestones.
• Serve as a primary communication bridge between the CTO, internal departments, and external partners to ensure information flows efficiently and teams remain synchronized.

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you should possess a blend of technical expertise and high-level management skills. We are looking for the following qualifications:

• At least 3 years of experience in a technology leadership capacity, such as a software architect, technical project manager, or software engineer.
• Strong proficiency with SQL, cloud platforms, and a deep understanding of the software development life cycle.
• Demonstrated ability to handle data security and compliance requirements while working with auditors and regulators.
• Exceptional strategic planning and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable business strategies.
• Experience in fintech or fast-growing startup environments is highly preferred.
• Fluency in English is required for effective collaboration across our global team.
