What you bring

As our Chief Information Security Officer, you will serve in an executive, full-time capacity to oversee our security team and protect our consumer applications, as well as our Tile and Jiobit hardware products. You will act as the bridge between our IT, product, and engineering organizations to instill a culture where security is a shared responsibility. This role is remote and open to candidates located anywhere. Your primary responsibilities include:

• Establishing and executing a comprehensive information security strategy that aligns with our business growth and innovation goals.
• Managing daily cybersecurity operations, including incident response, vulnerability testing, and the implementation of robust security tools like encryption and intrusion detection.
• Leading risk management efforts, including conducting regular assessments and ensuring full compliance with relevant legislation and data protection standards.

Requirements

We are looking for a seasoned professional with at least 15 years of experience in technology, including 10 years in a leadership role and 10 years specifically within information security. You should possess a strong technical background with proficiency in AWS, IoT, and mobile security. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker who can communicate complex risks to executive leadership while remaining a hands-on leader who is willing to jump into day-to-day operations. A bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field is required, and a master’s degree is preferred. You must be fluent in English and demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure, and a deep understanding of current security technologies.
