We are looking for a dedicated Chief Information Security Officer to join our team on a full-time basis at our headquarters in Hampton, VA. Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive cybersecurity policies and strategies to protect our critical information assets.
- Oversee our core security programs, which include risk management, vulnerability assessments, incident response, and regulatory compliance.
- Implement and maintain advanced security controls to defend against data breaches and unauthorized access while providing expert guidance to our internal stakeholders.
Requirements
To be successful in this executive role, you must possess the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field, though a Master’s degree is preferred.
- At least 8 years of professional experience in cybersecurity, including a minimum of 5 years in a leadership or management capacity.
- An active Secret Clearance or higher.
- Relevant professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA.
- Technical proficiency in areas including cloud security, network security, encryption, and hybrid active directory administration.
- A strong working knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks like NIST, ISO, and CMMC.
