We are looking for a Chief Engineer - Sensory and Perception to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis in the United States. At Epirus, we develop advanced technology solutions that address complex national security challenges. Our flagship product, Leonidas, is a software-defined system that uses intelligent power management to deliver greater performance with lower energy demands. In this role, you will guide the technical direction of our sensing and perception capabilities while collaborating across engineering, product, and leadership teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead the creation and execution of the strategic product roadmap for perception systems and future product lines.
- Define product requirements for upcoming systems by balancing cost targets, customer needs, and manufacturing considerations.
- Oversee a structured risk and opportunity management process to support successful project outcomes.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics.
- At least five years of direct experience in sensing systems and perception, along with ten or more years of combined experience in product engineering, product management, and systems engineering.
- Hands-on experience applying machine learning and artificial intelligence within perception systems.
- Proven ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required.
- Strong focus on achieving business goals, creative problem-solving, and maintaining a growth mindset while upholding ethical and compliant practices.
- Eligibility to work under ITAR regulations as a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual.

The salary range for this position is $239000-$338000 USD.
