About the Role

We are looking for a Chief Compliance Officer to join our team in a full-time capacity. This is a senior leadership position where you will play a pivotal role in shaping our compliance strategy as we scale globally. You will be the primary point of contact for regulators, ensuring that our growth remains aligned with our commitment to integrity and security.

Key Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of our end-to-end compliance agenda, including preparing for regulatory expectations, maintaining ongoing supervision, and building scalable controls that grow alongside our transaction volumes.
• Serve as the primary day-to-day interface with regulators, establishing strong credibility and ensuring our operations remain transparent and compliant.
• Act as a strategic bridge between local market realities and our executive leadership team to ensure our international expansion efforts remain consistent with our high standards for control and governance.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

• At least 5 years of relevant experience as a senior compliance leader within a regulated financial services environment, such as a VASP, fintech, or payments firm.
• Current residency in the UAE and a proven track record of acting as a primary interface with regulatory bodies.
• A builder mentality, characterized by the ability to operate effectively in ambiguous environments and a talent for creating momentum from the ground up.
• The professional maturity to balance commercial speed with the absolute necessity of maintaining regulatory credibility and control integrity.
