About the Role
This is a full-time, on-site position where you will play a vital role in our engineering initiatives. You will be responsible for leading our efforts in material selection, developing robust water chemistry programs, and assessing material compatibility to ensure the long-term success and reliability of our diverse projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and oversee comprehensive water chemistry programs to maximize the performance and lifespan of systems like heat exchangers, pipelines, and cooling infrastructure.
- Select appropriate materials, including various alloys, for our engineering projects while evaluating their suitability for specific operational environments.
- Conduct thorough assessments of material compatibility, focusing on factors like corrosion resistance, erosion, and chemical interactions to ensure system integrity.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
- At least 8 years of professional experience managing water chemistry and selecting materials within industrial settings.
- A strong grasp of relevant industry regulations and standards.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving technical environment.
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively alongside multidisciplinary teams.
- Please note that a Master's degree is considered a plus for this senior-level role.
