Zeteo Tech, Inc. is a venture-backed organization focused on creating innovative solutions for medical and biodefense applications. We are looking for a motivated Chemist to join our team in an on-site, full-time capacity to help us tackle critical healthcare and national security challenges.
Responsibilities
- Perform chemical experiments and analyses using advanced techniques like microscopy, gas chromatography mass spectrometry, and MALDI-TOF mass spectrometry.
- Assist our scientists in the refinement of MALDI-TOF MS equipment through rigorous physical and chemical laboratory testing.
- Interpret and compile test data to support our ongoing development projects.
- Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team of engineers, chemists, and biologists by providing technical assistance.
- Create experimental formulas and prepare chemical solutions according to standardized procedures.
- Ensure all laboratory instruments are properly cleaned, sterilized, and maintained.
- Document your findings by writing technical reports and creating charts or graphs.
Must-haves
- A Bachelor’s degree, ideally in chemistry.
- Between 1 and 5 years of relevant professional experience.
- Practical knowledge of wet bench chemistry procedures.
- Strong data analysis skills with a focus on accurate documentation.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a high level of attention to detail.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to work well within a team.
- U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status.
- Fluency in English.
