What you'll be doing

• Deliver high-quality theoretical and practical training in specialized modules, including explosives plant operations, chemical finishing processes, and analytical techniques for chemical defense.
• Design and implement engaging, hands-on lessons and workshops that prioritize real-world applications, technical competencies, and industry best practices.
• Manage course content and trainee assessments while maintaining lab facilities and ensuring all training materials remain at the cutting edge of current technology.

What you'll bring

To succeed in this role, you should possess a strong background in chemical technology and a desire to mentor the next generation of specialists. We require the following qualifications:

• A minimum of 3 years of industry experience in areas such as explosives plant operations, chemical inspection, or material science, preferably within a defense or manufacturing environment.
• A diploma or equivalent in Chemical Technology, Explosives Technology, or a related field, or recognized professional certifications like NACE, HazMat, or Certified Explosives Operator status.
• Excellent communication skills in English, with non-native speakers required to provide proof of competency through exams like IELTS or TOEFL.
• A willingness to undergo enhanced security background checks due to the sensitive nature of our defense-related training.
• Experience with Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality technologies, as well as prior teaching experience, is considered a significant asset.
