The role
We are seeking a student to join our team as a Chemical Engineering Co-Op. This is a full-time, on-site position designed to provide you with meaningful, hands-on experience on real-world engineering projects. The role is scheduled to run from January through August 2026, and you will report directly to our Engineering Manager.
Core responsibilities
- Conduct technical analysis for various engineering projects as assigned by the team.
- Support the implementation of capital projects and ongoing maintenance activities.
- Identify and execute process improvements, including initiatives focused on waste reduction, cycle-time efficiency, sustainability, and energy savings.
Skills and experience
To be successful in this role, you should be currently enrolled in an accredited university pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, with a preference for students in Chemical, Mechanical, or Industrial programs. We are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications:
- Strong computer literacy, specifically with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Project.
- Excellent presentation skills and a demonstrated ability to lead, as you may have the opportunity to oversee installation crews on capital projects.
- Fluency in English.
