Role at a glance

We are seeking a Senior CFD Development Specialist to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a hybrid role based in Switzerland, where you will work alongside our process development experts to push the boundaries of our carbon capture technology.

Your impact

• Lead the modeling, validation, and optimization of our carbon capture processes by serving as our internal specialist for fluid and heat flow dynamics.
• Execute detailed CFD analyses to predict performance across various scales, ranging from intricate filter structures to large-scale atmospheric dispersion models.
• Partner with our mechanical design teams to define critical boundary conditions and contribute to the development of new vessels, plant architectures, and structural designs.

What you'll need

• At least 5 years of professional experience in Computational Fluid Dynamics, backed by a strong foundation in thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and porous media.
• Expertise in using ANSYS FLUENT and associated geometry meshing tools like Fluent Mesher, Workbench, or Space Claim.
• A proactive, innovative mindset with the ability to translate complex simulation results into clear technical insights for your colleagues.
• Fluency in English to ensure effective communication within our international team.
• Experience with multiphase systems is considered a significant advantage.
