The opportunity
We are seeking a Senior Central Support Specialist to join our team in a full-time, hybrid capacity based in Colombia. In this role, you will be the backbone of our remote administrative operations, ensuring that patients have the necessary documentation and support to continue their recovery journey beyond the clinic walls. You will serve as a vital link between our patients and clinicians, maintaining high levels of satisfaction and operational excellence from a central location.
A day in the life
- You will provide empathetic and friendly support to patients across multiple platforms, including email, phone, and our secure app, while troubleshooting technical issues to ensure prompt resolutions.
- You will manage critical administrative workflows, such as verifying insurance, reviewing self-pay pricing, issuing medical referrals, and handling prior authorizations for imaging and specialty services.
- You will act as a subject matter expert for all things Carbon Health, proactively suggesting process improvements that enhance the experience for our patients, clinicians, and internal operations.
Who you are
You are a compassionate individual who believes that patients deserve better access to their healthcare teams and health data. You thrive in collaborative environments and are always looking for ways to put the patient first. To be successful in this role, you should bring the following:
- Significant experience in healthcare, clinic, or hospital settings, combined with a background in support or escalation roles.
- Strong technical proficiency, specifically with Apple products like iPads and MacBooks, as well as the Google Business Suite.
- The ability to remain calm and focused while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A track record of being a successful team player and a leader who works well across different departments.
- Fluency in English.
