The role
We are seeking a Senior Central Support Specialist to join us on a full-time basis. This is a hybrid position based in Colombia. You will play a vital role in our operational success by managing remote administrative tasks that ensure our patients in California and Nevada have the documentation and support they need to continue their recovery beyond the clinic walls.
Core responsibilities
- Provide exceptional, empathetic customer service to patients and clinicians across multiple platforms, including phone, email, live chat, and secure messages.
- Serve as a subject matter expert who handles complex tasks such as processing prior authorizations for imaging, issuing medical referrals, and verifying insurance information.
- Identify opportunities for operational growth by suggesting process improvements that directly benefit our patients, clinicians, and internal teams.
Skills and experience
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- A strong commitment to improving patient access to healthcare and a passion for building a new, more efficient model of care delivery.
- Professional experience in healthcare, clinic, or hospital settings, combined with a background in support or escalation roles.
- Technical proficiency with Apple products, such as iPads and MacBooks, as well as the Google Business Suite.
- The ability to remain calm and focused while troubleshooting issues in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Fluency in English.
