What is this role?

We are seeking a Senior Causal Inference Analyst to join our Growth team on a full-time, remote basis. This is a high-impact position for an experienced professional who wants to apply rigorous statistical methods to real-world financial challenges. You will work within a global, distributed team to help us optimize our product features and expand our reach across our key markets.

What will you do?

• Design, implement, and analyze experiments to measure the causal impact of new product features, promotional campaigns, and operational changes.
• Collaborate directly with our product and operations teams to identify growth drivers and generate testable hypotheses using large, complex datasets.
• Build and apply machine learning models, such as random forests, to analyze heterogeneous treatment effects and improve the overall customer experience.

You are a curious, self-driven analyst who loves digging into data to find answers. To succeed in this role, you should bring the following expertise:

• Experience: At least 5 years of professional experience in applied data analytics, with a deep background in experimental design and causal inference.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL and Python (or R) for data manipulation, statistical analysis, and machine learning.
• Statistical Knowledge: A strong grasp of econometrics and experimental methodologies, including propensity score matching, difference-in-differences, and instrumental variable analysis.
• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field like Statistics, Mathematics, or Economics is required, though a Master’s or PhD is preferred.
• Communication: You are comfortable taking ownership of projects from the initial scoping phase through to presenting your findings to stakeholders.
