The role
We are looking for a dedicated Case Manager to join our team in Cardiff on a full-time, on-site basis. This is a junior-level position perfect for someone looking to build a long-term career within a firm that prioritizes internal growth. You will be the primary point of contact for our clients, balancing professional integrity with the empathy needed to support individuals during their most challenging times.
Core responsibilities
- Customer Service: You will act as a reassuring presence for clients, managing their expectations regarding claim outcomes and timelines while providing consistent support as they recover from their injuries.
- Negotiation: You will advocate for our clients by negotiating effectively with insurance companies and working closely with the clients themselves to accurately determine the value of their claims.
- Administration: You will maintain meticulous records of all client interactions and claim updates within our automated case management system to ensure every detail is documented and monitored.
Skills and experience
To be successful in this role, you should possess strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with a diverse range of people. We welcome applications from candidates who hold a law degree, as well as those who have taken an alternative path into the profession. We are specifically looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:
- At least 12 months of experience in a case management role within the legal, insurance, or finance sectors.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to manage tight deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- A professional approach to negotiation and administration tasks.
Compensation and benefits
We value the commitment of our team members and offer a salary range of £24,000 to £26,000. In addition to your salary, we provide the following benefits:
