Key outcomes
- Take full ownership of the camera modeling lifecycle, covering the theory, design, implementation, and validation of models from the lens to the final image.
- Collaborate with our rendering and validation teams to ensure model correlation and develop prebuilt sensor models for our customers.
- Partner directly with sensor vendors and our customers to implement specific, high-fidelity models.
- Maintain a balanced workflow, dedicating approximately half of your time to model development and the other half to rigorous camera model validation.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of relevant professional experience.
- Proven expertise in designing and implementing simulations for camera systems, spanning from optics to final image output.
- Strong proficiency in Matlab, Python, or C++.
- Solid understanding of real-time graphics concepts and rendering engines.
- Demonstrated experience in the design, execution, and analysis of experiments to evaluate sensor performance.
- Fluency in English.
Preferred qualifications
- Practical experience working with computer vision cameras.
- Familiarity with industry-standard tools and libraries, such as OpenCV.
- Experience working with rendering engines, specifically Unreal Engine.
Compensation
The annual base salary range for this full-time position is $125,000 to $222,000 USD. In addition to base salary, our compensation package includes equity in the form of options or restricted stock units. We also provide a comprehensive benefits package, which includes:
