CAD Engineer Lead at Eliyan

The role

We are searching for a Senior CAD Engineer Lead to join us on a full-time, on-site basis in the United States. This is a leadership position for an experienced professional who is ready to take ownership of our analog CAD strategy. You will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and repeatability of our design flows while collaborating with a team of industry experts to achieve high-volume, high-performance manufacturing success.

Core responsibilities

• Take ownership of the deployment of analog CAD tools and flows, including LVS, DRC, extraction, and EMIR.
• Partner with our analog team to implement, optimize, and automate custom tool flows that support tapeouts down to 3nm and future GAA nodes.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for CAD-related issues, manage vendor relationships for bug tracking, and oversee CAD tool licensing and infrastructure selection.

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

• An M.S. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent field.
• At least five years of professional experience as a CAD and design engineer working on high-performance projects.
• Strong proficiency in scripting, with specific experience in SKILL and shell scripting.
• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup setting while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams and IT departments.
• Fluency in English.
