C++ Software Developer at DV Trading

With over 450 professionals across North America and Europe, we use our own capital and sophisticated risk management to provide essential liquidity to the world. We are looking for a talented engineer to join our Chicago-based team and help us push the boundaries of what our trading platforms can achieve.

Role at a glance

We are looking for a Mid-Level C++ Software Developer to join us in a full-time, on-site capacity. You will be an integral part of our development team, focusing on the core systems that drive our trading operations.

Your impact

• Take a lead role in designing, building, and deploying our core trading platform using C++ 17.
• Apply your expertise in areas like parallel programming, networking, and performance analysis to keep our systems running at peak efficiency.
• Collaborate daily with our trading desks, quantitative researchers, and fellow developers to solve complex technical challenges and deliver new features.

What you'll need

• At least 2 years of experience developing performant, scalable applications in C++.
• A strong working knowledge of Linux environments.
• Deep familiarity with multi-threaded and multi-core programming paradigms.
• Solid experience with object-oriented design and programming.
• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Excellent communication skills and a highly collaborative mindset.
• Bonus points if you have prior experience with options trading or complex trading systems.
• Fluency in English.
