The opportunity
We are seeking a C# .Net Software Engineer to join our Product and Tech team. In this role, you will be a vital contributor to our ecosystem of services and infrastructure. You will work extensively with C# and T-SQL while harnessing the power of AWS services like Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, and SQS. This is a full-time, hybrid position that offers the flexibility to balance your professional and personal life, with the option to work from our South Melbourne office 2-3 days per week.
A day in the life
- You will design, build, and maintain secure, scalable software solutions that directly support our global customers.
- You will troubleshoot and debug production issues across multiple levels of the stack to ensure our platform remains reliable and performant.
- You will promote high-quality software craftsmanship by utilizing agile best practices and contributing to our continuous delivery and deployment processes.
Who you are
You are a detail-oriented engineer with at least 3 years of experience who thrives on solving complex problems with elegant code. You are a self-starter who enjoys collaborating with teammates across different time zones and has a genuine passion for learning new technologies.
- You are fluent in C# .Net 6+ and Web API.
- You have strong experience with SQL Server, modern ORMs, and T-SQL optimization.
- You are proficient with AWS or other major cloud platforms.
- You possess a solid understanding of cloud-based architecture, including security, scalability, and fault tolerance.
- You have a background in CI/CD and automated deployment practices.
- You are comfortable communicating in English.
