About the Role
We are looking for a Mid-Level C# .Net Software Engineer to join our Product and Tech team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will work within our ecosystem of applications and infrastructure, utilizing C# and T-SQL alongside a variety of AWS services like Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, and SQS. You will focus on building elegant solutions for our APIs, payment integrations, and reporting platforms while helping us evaluate emerging technologies to drive innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain secure and scalable software solutions.
- Enhance our platform to empower our global customer base in delivering world-class guest experiences.
- Troubleshoot and debug production issues across multiple levels of the stack.
Requirements
To succeed in this position, you should bring a detail-oriented mindset and a passion for continuous learning. We are looking for the following qualifications:
- At least 3 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Fluency in C# .Net 6+ and Web API.
- Strong experience with SQL Server, modern ORMs, and T-SQL optimization.
- Proficiency with AWS or similar cloud platforms.
- Knowledge of modern cloud-based architecture, including scalability, security, and fault tolerance.
- Familiarity with CI/CD and automated deployment techniques.
- A self-starter attitude with a desire to collaborate effectively across time zones.
Location
This position is based in Australia and follows a hybrid work model. You will have the flexibility to work from home, with the expectation of being in our centrally located South Melbourne office 2-3 days per week.
